With four product lines, a centralized site with four halls, and complete vertical integration from design to installation, TMI (Techno Métal Industrie) is now a reliable value in metal fabrication.
Four halls equipped on a single site near all road and river transport routes.
Customer satisfaction, end-to-end quality and good governance are the company’s values.
Michel T.
Construction Supervisor, assembly department since 1 August 2000
Techno Metal Industrie gives us work near us. The assembly is demanding and we work hard. It’s a very varied job and we’re lucky to have beautiful construction sites. For example, the new NATO headquarters where we worked a lot. A bridge that we place, we see it from beginning to end. It’s motivating, it’s rewarding. Small important detail, at TMI, we are paid on time.
Anecdote or memorable memory, good time @TMI : My son works with me. He started as a student at 15 years old. After school, he came as an interim. In the meantime he is 25 years old and has become team leader on site. I am proud of everything that we achieved with the company: we are doing great work. Our bosses are open and in addition, they have the same hours as us!
Réginald S.
Chef d’atelier, depuis 2002
For the rewarding aspect of the work. These are unusual works: large and rare works (e. g. civil engineering structures). For the company’s atmosphere and excellent dynamics: its development (20 years, but constant growth and evolution of the organization and skills to tackle large markets). Family aspect, we all know each other and we’re good friends.
Anecdote or memorable, good time @TMI : It’s dramatic to recruit: it’s hard to find people to work with us today. I remember my first job fifteen years ago, it was the Battice viaduct in 2002. The workers I had met at that time, we found them and they are now part of the team!!
Benoît E.
Draftsman-Designer, since 2012
My work here is very rewarding. What I draw is produced before our eyes. They are incredible pieces, we are precise to the millimetre, even if they are gigantic and of important tonnages. We change projects all the time, nothing is the same. We go from a 100-metre bridge to a shopping centre. Our job is important because it is necessary to manufacture in Seilles in our halls what we draw, then to be able to take these parts out of the hall, treat them or paint them outside, transport them to the site and install them. Everyone on the same site, it’s also fantastic, we go faster and we get answers to our questions quickly. As far as drawing is concerned, 3D is exciting. We draw everything from A to Z so that the workshop knows 100% what to prepare. For the past 5 years, we have been growing in strength. It’s always complicated and I often repeat it, I draw nothing straight, only curves!
Anecdotal or memorable, good time @TMI : Bridges are always impressive. The Archies Bridge is incredible. Difficult to design, assembled on site, then placed with the barges. Everything has been designed to the millimetre, including the transport.
Between employees, we do a lot of things together and have fun, with our company meals and outings together. Each time it is an opportunity to see each other and share in other circumstances.
